Theme Based
Every class, from our littlest to biggest learners, follow a theme based curriculum through out the school year. Themes are weekly and are based on the time of year, changing seasons, science and include lots of kid friendly activities and crafts!
Zoo-Phonics
We are proud to provide the Zoo-Phonics curriculum to our preschool classes. With Zoo-Phonics, preschool children will begin sound blending, spelling, and writing. It is fully kinesthetic and multi-sensorial— children use their eyes, ears, mouths and bodies to learn. The curriculum is age-appropriate, developmental, sequential and playful. The Animal letters integrate into calendar, alphabet song, favorite songs, art, music, science, math, dramatic play and physical education.
Handwriting Without Tears
In our preschool program, the Handwriting Without Tears curriculum provides a multi-sensory approach to letter recognition and pre-writing skills. According to research, children who master handwriting are better, more creative writers. The earlier we teach children to master handwriting, the more likely they are to succeed in school, and write with speed and ease in all subjects. The Handwriting Without Tears curriculum provides engaging, and developmentally appropriate instructional methods to enable children to master handwriting as an automatic and comfortable skill.
